Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in Boston. In this technical position, you will coordinate and develop power system planning projects, performing critical analysis for various North American clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience, includes a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and is proficient with PSS®E. We offer a competitive salary range from $68,187 to $129,385, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficient with the PSS®E software package, including load‑flow, short‑circuit, and transient stability analysis.
• Familiar and experienced with key North American Market Operators' policies, guidelines, and requirements for grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and deliver various complex power system study and planning projects.
• Perform and review power systems analysis activities including load‑flow and reliability analysis.
• Deliver accurate planning and studies that meet industry standards.
