Qualifications

• Pursuing a senior‑level Bachelor’s, Master’s, or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in power systems engineering preferred.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn processes to develop, maintain, and validate short-circuit and dynamic power system models.
• Review modeling workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop scripts to automate recurring modeling tasks.
• Support model-data collection, outreach, review, and validation.
• Assist with planning databases: implementation, maintenance and improvement.
• Review models for legacy inverter‑based resources in the short‑circuit database.
• Contribute to on‑demand dynamic database building.
