A leading utility organization seeks an analytical professional to support reporting and data visualization tasks within their power supply department. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical tools such as R and Python, and expertise in data visualization software like Tableau. This position also entails automating reports, conducting economic evaluations, and ensuring regulatory compliance, contributing to effective load forecasting and resource planning.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will perform analytical and reporting duties to support the organization, including designing and developing database management, data analytics, and data visualization products.
Success will require a working knowledge of the electric industry in the PNW, the cooperative utility business model, and BPA contracts and customer relationships.
This person will create and automate reports in support of load forecasting and resource planning functions and will also conduct member specific data analysis and economic evaluations. Participate in the preparation testimony to BPA and reports and recommendations to the PNGC Board of Directors will also be required from time to time.
As an integral team member, this person will also ensure that the above are carried out and coordinated in a manner consistent with PNGC’s overall financial and policy objectives.
