Job summary

Hunter Power Sports is seeking an Entry-Level Powersports Technician to join our service team. You will work hands-on with motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and watercraft, gaining valuable experience while learning from seasoned technicians.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with diagnostics, and help prepare units for delivery in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment. This role offers training, growth opportunities, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how mechanical systems work.
• Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, tire and brake work, and other basic repairs.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related concerns.
• Assemble and prepare new motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and watercraft.
• Install accessories and enhancements such as winches, plow kits, lighting, exhaust systems, and other equipment.
• Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure units are safe and ready for customers.
• Properly document completed work and service records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
