Job summary

Hunter Power Sports is seeking an entry-level powersports technician to join our service team. You’ll work alongside experienced techs, gaining hands-on experience servicing motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, assist diagnostics, assemble new units, install accessories, and complete PDIs while keeping thorough service records in a safe workshop. A genuine interest in powersports and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Motivation to learn and develop a career in powersports.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, tire and brake work, and other basic repairs.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related concerns.
• Assemble and prepare new motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and watercraft.
• Install accessories and enhancements such as winches, plow kits, lighting, exhaust systems, and other equipment.
• Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure units are safe and ready for customers.
• Properly document completed work and service records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
