Job summary

Aggreko in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Shop Technician 2 - Power to join our service center. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, chillers and oil-free air compressors, with opportunities for overtime.

This role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Aggreko offers strong training, an annual bonus, and a path for career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with diesel power/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Based out of Smyrna, TN service center
• Work overtime and weekends
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop
