Job summary

Domtar, a leading producer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and wood products, seeks a Power and Recovery Shift Relief Supervisor in Ashdown, Arkansas. This full-time, permanent role oversees crews, ensures mill requirements for steam, water and waste disposal are met, and plans priorities for the assigned area.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in power and recovery, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions while prioritizing resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of power and recovery experience required.
• College degree preferred; if no degree, TABE, CRC or Nowlin exam may be required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions are required.
• Must be able to prioritize well and assign resources appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct crews in supplying mill requirements for steam, water, and waste disposal.
• Plan and establish priorities for the assigned area of responsibility.
• Occasionally interact with government regulatory agencies, consultants, or other organizations.
