Job summary

nVent in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a skilled progressive die stamping press operator with 3+ years of manufacturing experience to set up and operate heavy-duty power presses. You will inspect parts from blueprints and routings, adjust tooling, and work safely to ensure quality.

You will plan sequences, check material, and assist with die setups while maintaining a productive, team-focused environment. Relocation assistance and a hiring bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of progressive die stamping press operation experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty power press to bend, form, stretch and straighten products per blueprints and templates.
• Plan sequence of operations applying knowledge of materials and routings.
• Assist with setup and operation of multiple presses for stamping products.
• Check material size and type, load coils, and adjust equipment as needed.
• Use micrometers, calipers, scales and gauges to ensure part accuracy.
• Move materials with lift truck or crane and report faults to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and a clean, organized work area.
