Job summary

MIKEL, Inc. seeks a Power Platform Developer to support the SSBN In-Service Engineering team in developing, integrating, and sustaining enterprise applications on the Microsoft Power Platform.

You will participate in a cross-functional Government/contractor team delivering secure, reliable solutions with emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure integrations. The role requires building both user-facing and backend components, designing data models, and ensuring ALM and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience building enterprise apps on the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop apps using Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven).
• Experience with Power Fx for UI, logic, and data-driven features.
• Design Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, and business rules.
• Create automations with Power Automate for business processes.
• Integrate Power Platform with SharePoint and Azure services.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and system integration concepts.
• Familiar with RBAC, security config, and data security.
• Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and performing ALM across environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain Power Platform enterprise apps.
• Build intuitive UI, dashboards, forms, and navigation structures.
• Develop application logic using Power Fx.
• Design apps for desktop and mobile with connected/offline modes.
• Model and maintain Dataverse data architecture and security.
• Create automated workflows with Power Automate.
• Integrate with SharePoint, Azure, REST APIs and external systems.
• Support data migration, transformation, and validation tasks.
• Collaborate with Government analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and integration issues.
• Document configurations, procedures, and release artifacts.
