Ignite Digital is hiring a Mid-Level Power Platform Developer to support enterprise modernization efforts within government and defense environments. You will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable Power Platform solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, while mentoring teammates and upholding governance.

Required skills include PL-400 certification, DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, and experience with web resources (JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.
• PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate) certification.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Experience designing Canvas apps and Dataverse solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for custom development; HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Understanding of C#/.NET for backend or advanced Power Platform extensions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven applications including Dataverse solutions.
• Develop complex workflows and automations with Power Automate.
• Design and implement Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules.
• Develop custom Power Platform functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, and custom connectors.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics with Power BI.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, SQL, Azure services, Dynamics 365, and third-party apps.
• Support ALM practices, version control, deployment processes, and Git workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive user adoption.
• Provide governance, standards, and best practices for Power Platform delivery.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to improve development maturity.

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Power Platform Developer to join our team supporting enterprise modernization efforts within government and defense environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires deep technical expertise across Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365 integrations, and custom Power Platform development. The successful candidate will help design enterprise solutions, establish development best practices, support platform governance, and mentor team members while delivering mission-focused applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven applications, including Dataverse-based solutions
• Develop complex workflows, business processes, and automations using Power Automate
• Design and implement Dataverse data models, including tables, relationships, security roles, field-level security, and business rules
• Develop custom Power Platform functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS web resources, Power Fx, APIs, and custom connectors
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft services and external systems, including SharePoint, SQL databases, Azure services, Dynamics 365, and third-party applications
• Support application lifecycle management (ALM) practices, including solution management, version control, deployment processes, and Git-based development workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support user adoption
• Provide technical guidance, development standards, and best practices for Power Platform solution delivery
• Support Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) activities, governance practices, and platform standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Power Platform solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing to improve Power Platform development maturity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate)
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
• Professional experience with: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Microsoft 365 integrations
• Experience designing and developing canvas applications and Dataverse solutions
• Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript for custom Power Platform development; experience with HTML/CSS web resources preferred
• Understanding of C#/.NET for backend development, plugins, or advanced Power Platform extensions preferred.
• Experience with Power Platform integrations using: APIs, Custom connectors, Azure services, Dynamics 365 integrations
• Experience with Power Platform security concepts, including: Security roles, Field-level security, Auditing, Data access controls
• Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM), solution deployment, and source control practices
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently analyze complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location: Charleston, SC or possible remote

Schedule: Hybrid 1-2 days onsite in Charleston or possible remote

Salary: $90k to align with experience and education
