State of North Carolina - DHHS is seeking a versatile Microsoft Power Platform Developer for the Division of Public Health. The role leads the design, development, and governance of low-code solutions and supports enterprise-grade applications and databases with a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of Power Platform experience, strong SQL skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of MS Power Platform development and implementation experience.
• Expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Strong SQL skills and database integration experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power Platform solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform with SQL Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and external systems.
• Maintain SQL databases and ETL processes.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and ETL processes.
• Design enterprise‑ready data models and build secure connections between Power Platform solutions and SQL databases.
• Implement governance, ALM, and environment strategies for Power Platform solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform errors, workflow failures, and database performance issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support modernization, automation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
