Job summary

Navaide is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Power Platform Developer to help transform Navy training processes with automation and data solutions. You will leverage Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Office 365 to improve data collection, approvals, and digital signatures, delivering secure, scalable automation.

You will lead end-to-end development, apply ALM practices, and work with stakeholders to deliver RBAC-enabled, well-documented solutions while supporting Navy client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience leading development teams and end-to-end lifecycle in Power Platform environments.
• Proficiency with REST/JSON/XML, OAuth2/SAML/JWT, and Azure AD integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and deployment of Power Platform solutions using ALM practices.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and align solutions with stakeholder needs.
• Plan, delegate, and track tasks; mitigate risks for on-time launches.
• Collaborate on RBAC design with security groups and user personas.
• Develop custom connectors for API integrations to enable secure data flows.
• Create reusable components for portfolio consistency.
• Define test requirements for unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Maintain technical documentation including design specs and release notes.
• Advise client leadership on evaluating new features and portfolio alignment.

Navaide is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to help transform Navy training processes with cutting-edge automation and data solutions.

Your Impact

As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing workflow automation tools for our Navy clients. You'll leverage Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and the Office 365 suite to enhance data collection, streamline approvals, and modernize digital signature workflows. Your expertise will bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless automation that drives mission success.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform Solutions using Application Lifecyle Management (ALM) best practices
• Facilitate requirements gathering and collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring proposed solutions are thoroughly validated and aligned with organizational needs.
• Plan, delegate, and track development tasks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure successful launches within defined timelines
• Collaborate with a team to design security groups and user personas to effectively enable role-based access controls (RBAC)
• Develop custom connectors for API integrations to enable secure data flows
• Develop reusable components to promote consistency across the portfolio of solutions
• Define test requirements and protocols to effectively capture user requirements, facilitating unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) events
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and release notes
• Provide guidance to client-side leadership on the evaluation and prioritization of new product and feature requests, ensuring alignment with their portfolio strategy

What you Bring

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Proven ability to lead development teams and oversee the end-to-end application lifecycle utilizing managed Power Platform environments
• Proficiency in web service technologies (REST/JSON/XML), authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT), and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex projects
• Active DOD clearance, or the ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NAVWAR, NAVAIR, DoD, and Navy Flank Speed environments
• Experience supporting Navy PEO MLB, PEO Digital, or PEO C4I
• Experience with Model-Driven Apps and/or Dynamics 365
• Experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging Microsoft Dataverse
• Microsoft Power Platform Certifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
