Job summary

Kala Talent is seeking a hands-on Power Platform Developer to join the Data team and deliver end-to-end Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions. You will work with internal and external clients to translate requirements into scalable, secure applications that boost operational efficiency.

The role focuses on Dataverse modeling, complex automation, and data integration across sources, with a strong emphasis on governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on experience developing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in Dataverse data modeling and relational database design.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and data management.
• Solid understanding of Power Platform architecture, connectors, and extensibility.
• Experience with Azure services integration (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Lake).
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken (works with international teams).

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate into comprehensive Power Platform solution designs.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based apps using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Design and implement complex automation flows using Power Automate, including RPA where needed.
• Create advanced analytics and interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Build secure data models, manage Dataverse and integrate multiple data sources.
• Develop and manage Power Platform connectors and custom solutions for API integrations.
• Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to standards.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to end users and junior developers.
• Document technical specs, architecture, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of solutions.

About the role

The person selected will design, develop and deploy end-to-end solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, transforming business requirements into scalable, secure and user-friendly applications. You will work with internal and external clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive digital transformation.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Power Platform architecture, connectors, and extensibility options.
• Experience with Azure services integration (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake).
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken (this role works with international teams).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing platforms.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for custom business logic.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code and source control (Git).
• Familiarity with Dataverse plugins or Power Platform solution frameworks.
• Experience with MS SharePoint integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of Power Virtual Agents.
• Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104 or Power Platform certifications).
