Job summary

Heritage Companies in Tampa, FL is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions that drive core business operations within our insurance organization.

You will work with an agile team on Power Apps Canvas Apps, PowerFx, Power Automate, and SQL Server integrations, delivering scalable applications from concept through deployment while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing production Power Apps Canvas Apps.
• Strong proficiency with PowerFx, including collections, variables, and context/state management.
• Experience integrating Power Apps with SQL Server, including stored procedures and structured JSON payloads.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power Automate cloud flows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving UI behavior, galleries, nested collections, refresh logic, and data binding.
• Ability to independently own projects and deliver solutions from concept through deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production Power Apps Canvas Apps used by internal business teams.
• Build sophisticated PowerFx solutions utilizing collections, nested data structures, ForAll, Patch, and LookUp functions.
• Develop integrations with SQL Server by creating structured JSON payloads, executing stored procedures, and parsing responses using ParseJSON.
• Create, enhance, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows that streamline business processes.
• Troubleshoot complex application behavior, connector authentication, data synchronization and platform-related issues.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective, user-friendly solutions.
• Participate throughout the full application lifecycle- from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing enhancements.
