Job summary

DSA is in search of an exceptionally skilled Power Platform Developer with extensive Power BI development experience possessing a secret clearance. This position is a hybrid role reporting to the Pentagon one day per week.

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution. Security clearances may be required and applicants must meet DoD access requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong data visualization design and data modeling skills.
• Proficient in Power BI solution development.
• Proficient in Power Apps and Power Automate development.
• Proficient in SharePoint Online (SPO).
• Experience with Army 365 (A365) or Microsoft Office 365.
• Solid understanding of requirements gathering and customer engagement.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification or plan to acquire within 90 days for qualified candidates.
• Certification related to Microsoft Power Platform can be considered if obtained within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Define, model, and deliver connections to standard Army data sources.
• Establish and maintain connections through the data gateway; create ETL as required and utilize Dataverse and data warehouses as needed.
• Design and deliver common dashboards/reports.
• Evolve the data framework to provide enterprise repeatable capabilities.
• Power BI solution development.
• Power BI Premium Workspace management.
• Data model development.
• Align SharePoint Online, M365, SharePoint with data model.
• Build data environment to support visualization and metrics requirements.
• Work with customers to define and document requirements.
• Stakeholder communications including presentations.
• Develop data visualization solutions.
• Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules.
• Creation of BI dashboards based on KPIs and customer requirements.

• Computing Environment (CE) relative to the position (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 100, 200, or 400 other related certifications can be considered) - Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 180 days for otherwise well qualified candidate

Clearance Required

Desired Qualifications

• Experience managing Power BI Premium Workspaces
• Project management experience including requirements gathering, customer engagement, and formaldocumentation of efforts
• Microsoft Office skills especially PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI and SharePoint in the US Army unclassified network or DoD environment
• Experience using project management tools e.g. MS Project and JIRA
• Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models
• Experience with data lakes such as Army Vantage
• Proficient with Model-Driven app development and Dataverse
• Experience with MS Power Suite, including Power Apps and Power Automate

Salary

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$120,000 - $138,000 USD
