Job summary

Hollstadt Consulting is seeking a Power Platform/Dataverse Developer for a 6‑month contract in Blue Ash, OH. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days on site. Responsibilities include designing and building Power Platform solutions, models, flows, and dashboards to drive digital experiences across departments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, plus API integration, REST, and DevOps practices. A CS/IS-related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate (cloud flows and business process flows), and Power BI (modeling, reporting, dashboards).
• Understanding Dataverse, environments, and solution lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and basic scripting or development concepts.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git used in Power Apps ALM.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and iterative delivery environments; exposure to scaled agile framework is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and related services.
• Develop scalable model‑driven apps and canvas apps, plus business process flows.
• Create scalable Power Automate flows using standard connectors (Azure Service Bus, Dynamics 365 connectors).
• Optimize Power Platform development with delegable queries for high throughput and large user bases.
• Model data with Dataverse for customer experience, finance/ops, and HR within Power Platform.
• Implement automated testing approaches for Power Platform.
• Write clean, maintainable logic with Power Fx and ensure best practices in automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in apps, flows, data connections, and integrations.
• Contribute to governance, ALM standards, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver digital experiences.
• Participate in solution reviews, testing cycles, and deployment across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod.
• Assist with data modeling and reporting in Power BI dashboards.
