Hollstadt Consulting in Ohio is seeking a Power Platform/Dataverse Developer for a 6-month contract. This hybrid role is based in Blue Ash, OH, with three days on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps experience is essential)
• Power Automate (cloud flows, business process flows and automation)
• Power BI (data modeling, reporting, dashboard integration to apps)
• Understanding Dataverse, environments, and solution lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and basic scripting or development concepts.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git used in conjunction with Power Apps ALM.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in iterative delivery environments, exposure to scaled agile framework concepts would be advantageous but not essential
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform—including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related services.
• Develop scalable model-driven apps, and canvas apps, and business process flows.
• Develop scalable power automate cloud flows to support business processes using standard connectors particularly Azure Service Bus, and other D365 suite application standard connectors (Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Operations etc.) .
• Experience in high transaction throughput and large user base Power Platform development and optimization through delegable query design and other techniques.
• Experience working with Power Platform with Dynamics 365 Dataverse and data models for customer experience, finance and operations, and Human Resources.
• Experience of working with Power platform automated testing approaches.
• Write clean, maintainable solution logic and implement Power Fx formulas, expressions, and automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in apps, flows, data connections, and integrations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Power Platform development standards, governance, and ALM practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Participate in solution reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities across development, UAT, and production environments.
• Assist with data modeling and reporting within the Power Apps using Power BI dashboards, datasets, and visualizations.
