Job summary

GDIT in the United States is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer/Architect to lead design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IT experience, 5+ years with Power Platform, and PL-400 certification; US citizenship is required. Proficiency with Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and secure architecture is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Implement role-based security and follow security best practices.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer/Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands on expertise in Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, with a strong focus on secure application architecture, system integration, and custom development. This role blends architectural leadership with active solution delivery and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, analysts, and developers.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse).
  • Build Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Develop custom components, plugins, PCF controls, and APIs using C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools.
  • Implement role-based security and follow Power Platform security best practices.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience in software development and application delivery.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Must have hands on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform Plugins, PCF Controls, and custom APIs and
  • Experience with React, Node.js, or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) certification required; PL-600 certification preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
