Job summary

Convergence Networks in Lansing, MI is seeking a Power Platform and AI Specialist to design and deliver Power Platform and AI solutions for managed services and project work. You will translate business needs into practical solutions across Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot, and related tools.

You will work directly with clients and internal delivery teams to define requirements, estimate effort, build solutions, and support ongoing enhancements, while ensuring governance and security considerations

Qualifications

3 to 5+ years of experience delivering Power Platform, business intelligence, or Microsoft 365 solutions in a consulting, managed services, or client-facing role.
Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
Working knowledge of Copilot, AI use cases, and intelligent automation, including readiness, adoption, and governance considerations.
Experience gathering requirements, scoping work, and preparing estimates for client-facing or internal projects.
Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language to business users and client stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client requests at the same time.

Responsibilities

Build solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, and Copilot Studio agents.
Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models, using Power Query and DAX to build measures, relationships, and calculations.
Design and implement Copilot readiness and AI-assisted workflows, including data structure, permissions, and governance considerations.
Connect to and transform data from client systems such as CRM, ERP, PSA, ticketing, and finance platforms, applying security and row-level access controls.
Maintain and enhance existing solutions and troubleshoot data, refresh, performance, and accuracy issues.
Support user acceptance testing, training, knowledge transfer, and handoff documentation so solutions can be supported by the broader team.
