Duke Energy in Indiana is seeking a WMS Work Management Specialist I to support planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance work at the site. You will develop weekly schedules, create job plans, and ensure resources and materials are available to execute work safely and efficiently.

This role requires 3 years of related experience or an associate degree, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years minimum related work experience.
• Associate's degree required.
• In lieu of degree, HS/GED with 7 years related experience.
• Must be respirator qualified.
• Basic knowledge of power plant operation and Work Management processes.
• Working knowledge of company computer systems used in Work Management.
• Basic scheduling tool knowledge.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Interpersonal skills to work with all station groups.
• Basic ability to lead effective meetings.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop weekly schedules and plans to facilitate barrier-free work execution.
• Create job plans and determine proper GL accounting for work orders.
• Coordinate inventories and procure parts; set minimum inventory levels.
• Prepare reports and track progress; capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Direct, coordinate, and review activities of internal staff or contractors to ensure safe, accurate completion.
