Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Transmission Work Management Planner to develop detailed work packages for construction and maintenance across substation and transmission assets. You will review equipment histories, identify special requirements, and allocate resources with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Construction, Project Management, and Grid teams to align plans with annual capital and O&M programs, manage variances, and help ensure timely project

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 5 years related work experience.
• In lieu of degree, High School/GED and 7 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop work packages with scope, hours, skills, procedures, tools, and parts.
• Plan for permits and environmental considerations (DOT/ENV).
• Coordinate with multiple groups to schedule and allocate resources.
• Produce project durations and provide drawings or sketches as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and manage changes to plans.
