Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation seeks a Reliability Engineer for its New Hope Power facility in Florida. The role focuses on maintaining plant assets, planning outages, and improving daily productivity by coordinating manpower, parts, and equipment access.

You will review preventative maintenance and conduct failure analyses to prevent future downtime. The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in reliability engineering in power plants, and experience with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of equipment and materials used in power plant repair and maintenance.
• Understand theory and relationships between components in power generation.
• Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all plant levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with plant management on operating and maintenance conditions.
• Develop recommendations to improve generating plant efficiency, reliability, safety and costs.
• Serve as liaison between production and maintenance for outage planning.
• Maintain records essential to analysis and reporting of maintenance matters.
• Provide reliability-based maintenance outage planning and root cause analysis.
