Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Power Plant Engineer to provide engineering support to improve reliability, efficiency and overall performance. You will work with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to monitor equipment and lead reliability improvements at Aquasco, MD.
Responsibilities include monitoring plant performance, investigating outages, and managing projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- 3+ years supporting power plant operations, maintenance or reliability.
- Experience with electrical/instrumentation/control systems in industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with OSIsoft PI, CEMS, DAHS and plant performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize plant performance, reliability and efficiency.
- Investigate failures, outages and abnormal conditions; perform root cause analyses.
- Maintain electrical/instrumentation/control systems (DCS, PLCs, relays, MCCs).
- Lead studies, upgrades and capital projects with multiple teams.
- Maintain documentation and configuration controls for compliance.
