Job summary

TIC, a leading contractor, seeks a Piping Superintendent - Power for fossil power plant centerline equipment installation alignment. You will oversee field activities, supervise foremen and craft workers, interface with equipment suppliers, maintain schedule and cost control, ensure drawings and specs are followed, and manage work assignments for project execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience with 3+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership role
• Experience with piping installation and welding is preferred and aligns with degree
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1 or B31.3 and AWS welding standards
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, spool drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs
• Experience coordinating with multiple trades and managing field execution
• Ability to work with project teams to manage change orders and schedules

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior superintendents and foremen
• Review labor rates and ensure cost control and budgets
• Coordinate subcontractor interactions and field management meetings
• Maintain client/vendor relationships and resolve on-site issues
• Participate in client/engineer/manufacturer meetings to improve planning
• Monitor progress and provide cost input for the project
• Assist with change orders and project turnover planning
• Maintain detailed daily records for documentation
