Job summary

Per Sé Group is seeking an Outside Plant Utility Operator for a year-long assignment at a power generation facility in West Texas. You will help keep plant equipment operating safely and efficiently while supporting the Control Room Operator and Lead Operator.

Responsibilities include operating, inspecting, and monitoring power generation equipment; performing rounds and logging readings; identifying abnormal conditions and troubleshooting issues; and following strict safety and environmental

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in power generation or similar industrial environment, or equivalent education and industrial experience.
• High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and monitor power generation equipment.
• Perform equipment rounds, collect readings, and maintain operating logs.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Monitor gauges, meters, instrumentation, and plant operating parameters.
• Follow established operating, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Participate in operator training with opportunities to develop toward Control Room Operator qualifications.
