Job summary

Plum Point Energy Station is a 680 net MW coal-fired power plant located approximately 50 miles north of Memphis near Osceola, Arkansas. The Plant Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems and equipment on a continuous basis.

Responds to alarms, ensures safe and efficient operation, and maintains logs while coordinating with maintenance teams to sustain reliability and performance of the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in plant operations or a related field.
• Requires operation of a motor vehicle; valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms and execute start-up/shutdown procedures as required.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain logs and reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and engineers.
