Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in plant operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local plant operations and boiler operation codes.

Responsibilities

• Operates, controls, and safely shuts down primary and auxiliary power plant systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, chillers, and HVAC equipment.
• Monitors meters, gauges, and computer indicators to regulate power flow and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Conducts troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Compiles operational data, maintains logs, and manages emergency communications during power outages.
• Supports plant leadership by training colleagues and participating in workshops and special projects.
