Job summary

Tanadgusix Corporation is seeking a Power Plant Operator for the temporary Manley Hot Springs, AK site. You will work in the diesel power plant and solar PV farm, reading meters and performing maintenance on generators, solar arrays, battery storage, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include safety analyses, fault diagnosis, and documentation of work. Candidates should have a HS diploma, 1 year generation/mechanical experience, and be able to travel and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of generation mechanic, Solar PV and battery storage experience preferred.
• Ability to travel for work and/or training for extended periods.
• Ability to work extended schedules in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review safety analyses of hazards in the power plant.
• Support root cause analyses for equipment failures.
• Document corrective and preventive maintenance with records.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and retrofit diesel generators and solar equipment.
