St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY is hiring a Power Plant Operator to join our Maintenance Team. This full-time role operates and maintains central heating and cooling systems to support patient care areas, with a Monday–Friday 7:00AM–3:30PM schedule.

We seek candidates with 3+ years of experience operating high-pressure steam plants and related equipment, and who bring a strong commitment to safety and reliability in a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in a maintenance-related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 3 years’ experience operating a central plant with high-pressure steam equipment and large centrifugal chillers or equivalent.
• Familiarity with pumps, piping, chemically treated systems, and control systems.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Maintain steam and hot/cold water systems; monitor chemical treatment and water quality.
• Document routine and extraordinary events in log sheets and systems.
• Monitor Building Automation System for safe, reliable operation.
• Assist with PM and routine maintenance and respond to equipment emergencies.
