Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Power Plant Operator to join the Florence Maintenance Team. Shift/Hours: Full Time 40 Hours, First Shift.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM. The role supports patient care by operating and maintaining the central heating and air-conditioning equipment for the Medical Center. Responsibilities include operating boilers and chillers, monitoring system health, responding to alarms, and documenting events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and post-secondary training in a maintenance related field.
• Valid driver's license and SEHC insurance requirements.
• Familiarity with steam, condensate, and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, and related equipment in the Power Plant.
• Monitor and adjust chemical levels to prevent scale and corrosion.
• Respond to emergencies and follow SOPs for the Power Plant.
