Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking an Operations Maintenance Technician to provide technical expertise for operation and repair of instruments, control systems and mechanical and electrical equipment across our power generation assets. This role reports to the Plant Operations Supervisor or Manager and involves predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance.

Based at our Kingman, AZ site, you will perform inspections, debugging, calibration and maintenance, work with NERC guidelines, and coordinate parts,

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in electronics or related field.
Residence within 30 miles of the plant site; travel may be required to other sites.
2 years’ experience with LM6000 Gas Turbines.
Flexible work schedules, including possible weekends/overtime.
Must read, write and speak fluent English.
US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with predictive and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
Inspect, test, calibrate, and adjust equipment and control systems.
Operate and monitor turbine generators and balance-of-plant equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and schemas.
Order parts and manage inventory for maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements.
Coordinate with plant operations for corrective actions and improvements.
