Job summary

Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a SHCCF Supervisor of Maintenance in Spring Hill, FL. You will oversee maintenance activities at the SHCCF, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and plant performance standards.

Responsibilities include supervising corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance; coordinating spare parts; and leading training, procedures, and outages. On-call availability and strong safety leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance craft position at a combined cycle facility.
• 2 years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Combustion turbine-based power generation maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and related industry Best Practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and performs corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
• Ensures proper issuances of spare parts and equipment.
• Provides a safe and productive work environment aligned with Seminole’s culture and goals.
• Communicates maintenance-related work to appropriate departments.
• Develops employee training programs to meet requirements.
• Writes maintenance procedures using manuals, drawings, and vendor information.
• Ensures equipment, tools, and work areas are clean and orderly.
• Plans and implements an effective Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Oversees major work projects and outages with craft and contract staff.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure proper operations and maintenance.
