Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC, a Vistra Corp subsidiary, seeks a Plant Supervisor to support operation and maintenance at its Texas power plants, with occasional travel to other sites.

You will supervise multi-skill teams, enforce safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate planning using Maximo and WST. A background in power plant operations and drum boiler experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 5-7 years of power generation plant experience.
• Experience with Maximo for planning work, purchase requests, and job plans.
• Experience with WST scheduling tool.
• Control operator experience on a drum boiler preferred.
• Instrumentation and control background is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with PMMS/Maximo systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of a generating station.
• Supervise multi-skill production and maintenance staff to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Manage employee relations per company policies and labor agreements.
• Ensure safety, environmental, regulatory, and procedural compliance.
• Coordinate and implement special projects.
• Respond to emergency call-out situations and troubleshoot system problems.
• Interface with outside vendors and contractors.
• Plan and schedule for the plant site.
