SpaceX is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead the power generation assets at Starbase, TX. You will own gas turbine and generator reliability, implement maintenance programs, and drive operating performance in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

This role requires field leadership, strong problem solving, and the ability to coordinate with OEMs and engineering teams to ensure uptime for critical compute operations and Starbase power systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in power plant operations, maintenance, or engineering with gas turbine or combined-cycle experience.
• 3+ years leading operations/maintenance teams.
• Demonstrated experience in reliability and performance management.

Responsabilidades

• Build, lead, and develop multidisciplinary O&M teams.
• Own safe, reliable operation of gas turbine assets, generators, and balances-of-plant systems.
• Establish and improve operating procedures, PM programs, and emergency protocols.
• Drive plant performance metrics: availability, outages, heat rate, costs, reliability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance planning, inspections, and outages.
• Coordinate with OEMs, EPCs, vendors, and engineering teams.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and spares strategies.
• Foster strong safety culture and permit-to-work practices.
• Lead turnover, commissioning, startup readiness, and integration of new assets.
• Coordinate with data-center infrastructure to support critical compute operations.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and technicians.
