Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team building and operating a large gas-turbine power plant. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years in utility-scale gas turbines (commissioning, operations, maintenance, or plant engineering)
• Experience leading operations/project management in large-scale power plants
• Familiarity with gas-turbine combined-cycle plant systems and OEM interfaces

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a multi-disciplinary power plant team spanning gas turbines, mechanical and electrical balance of plant, controls, and commissioning
• Own the full lifecycle of gas turbine power generation assets—installation, commissioning, startup, operations, and long-term maintenance
• Drive turbine performance analysis to identify efficiency losses and fund corrective actions
• Coordinate balance-of-plant teams to deliver integrated plant performance
• Own the construction-to-operations handoff with EPC contractors; ensure smooth transition to commercial operation
• Represent the power plant organization to internal stakeholders and make timely field decisions under pressure
