Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; technical degree preferred.
• Military technical training or equivalent experience considered.
• Flexible to work varied shifts and on-call duties for off-hour dispatches.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control Combustion Turbines and balance-of-plant equipment, including startup, synchronization, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor plant systems, respond to alarms, and take corrective actions for abnormal conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch to confirm unit status and adjust output as required.
• Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems using schematics and test equipment.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance activities.
• Utilize work management systems for work orders and material requests.
• Direct and assist contractors and team members; conduct safety analyses and follow safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety training.
