Job summary

East Energy Renewables is seeking a Millwright to provide mechanical maintenance support for equipment in an electrical generating power plant. The candidate must have millwright experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

The role includes installing, testing, inspecting, and repairing plant equipment such as pumps, turbines, and heat exchangers, and working with apprentices to ensure proper, safe procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of millwright experience in repair, inspection or maintenance of pumps, turbines, or engines.
• 2 years in chemical, manufacturing, or power generating industries.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines.
• Installs, maintains, tests, inspects, and repairs generating station equipment.
• Replaces bearings and other components in pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Work with apprentices and other maintenance personnel to ensure safe use of tools and procedures.
