Castleton Commodities International is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the Signal Hill power plant in Wichita County, Texas. The role emphasizes safe, reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship while optimizing performance and cost.

You will lead a team of technicians, manage budgeting, coordinate with ERCOT, and drive continuous improvement, safety culture, and stakeholder relations within this 77 MW facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent power industry experience.
• Proven experience in power plant management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ERCOT market operations and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a diverse team.
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all plant operations, including safety, maintenance, production, and personnel management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with ERCOT and stakeholders to meet market demands during peak periods and volatility.
• Develop and manage the plant’s budget, including forecasting and controlling operational costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of Plant Technicians, fostering a high-performance work environment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant operations, maintenance, and environmental performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory agencies, and the community.
