National Energy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the McBain Power Plant. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on planning, scheduling, and executing repairs and preventive maintenance across all mechanical systems to ensure reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of industrial/power plant experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with CMMS (eMaint).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5 years in industrial/power industry setting as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Experience with CMMS programs.
• Experience with high pressure steam systems.
• Experience in welding and pipefitting.
• Experience in rigging.
• Experience in hydraulics.

Responsabilités

• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, actuators, gearboxes, compressors, fans, engines, piping and hydraulics.
• Plans, schedules and performs repairs and Preventive Maintenance to ensure plant reliability.
• Documents all work in CMMS (eMaint) and closes work orders.
• Collaborates with teams and may supervise outside contractors as needed.
• Ensures safety compliance and aligns with company policies.
