Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Power Plant Maintenance Manager to own maintenance, reliability, and long-term asset performance of Starbase power generation infrastructure. You will lead a hands-on maintenance organization across gas turbines, generators, and rotating equipment, developing preventive and predictive strategies while coordinating major outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance at a power generation facility.
• Experience with gas turbines, generators, and related plant equipment.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance organization for power plant (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls).
• Own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant equipment and balance-of-plant systems.
• Plan major turbine maintenance activities and outages with OEM guidance.
• Direct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Implement condition-monitoring tools and CMMS for asset management.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure safe isolation.
