Job summary

Evergy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at LaCygne Generating Station in LaCygne, KS to lead the maintenance crew in safe, reliable plant operations. You will plan, schedule, and coach Journeyman and Apprentices while driving equipment reliability and efficient maintenance practices.

Responsibilities include implementing RC M studies, predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and ensuring accurate CMMS documentation for all work orders. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Leads maintenance crew with focus on safety and reliability.
• Experience in heavy industrial maintenance and reliability-based maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coach and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coaching for Journeyman and Apprentices in new technology and procedures.
• Set safety, quality, and productivity standards through clear communications with maintenance staff.
• Lead efforts to improve equipment reliability via RCM, predictive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
