Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company in Parrish, FL seeks an Instrumentation & Control technician to maintain power plant systems, travel statewide for outages, and support 24/7 plant operations.

The role involves calibrating and troubleshooting I&C equipment, using test instruments, and passing MASS tests. Normal schedule is day shift; overtime and per diem when traveling; local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years calibration and troubleshooting of I&C at power plants
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL)

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain I&C equipment and systems.
• Operate test instruments and tools to ensure safe, productive work.
• Travel across Florida for outages; expect 24/7 weekend support.
• Work daytime shift normally; overtime as needed; per diem when traveling.
• Coordinate with teams to test and verify MASS and hands-on skills.
