Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, industrial or energy technology or two years related work experience if no degree.
• High school diploma with related work experience or military experience may be considered.
• Must be able to read, interpret simple prints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Isolate, clean, inspect and service strainers, heat exchangers and dust collectors.
• Operate and maintain portable tools, meters and equipment; keep areas clean and orderly.
• Monitor plant equipment and report abnormal conditions; assist with boiler prep and coal handling.
• Load/unload materials and operate material handling equipment; perform routine cleaning.
• Perform minor maintenance on plumbing and heating systems; follow safety rules.
