The internship runs from May through August 2027 and supports plant engineers with design, drawings, and equipment replacements. Applicants should have completed at least two years of engineering coursework, possess strong communication skills, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years of engineering coursework by internship start
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to meet physical and mental requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist plant engineers with project scopes, cost estimates, schedules and detailed design packages
• Coordinate preparation of construction drawings and specifications for plant process equipment
• Design and installation of replacement equipment
• Troubleshoot existing systems with Operations and Maintenance to resolve safety or production problems
• Periodic performance testing on plant equipment
• Use meters, instruments and engineering tools to collect data for plant testing requirements
• Analyze test results and make recommendations for modification, replacement or repair of equipment
• Provide engineering support to other departments as required
