Job summary

Vicinity Energy in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Distribution Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment, piping, valves and machinery at our power plant. This is a full-time, hourly, union position reporting to the Distribution Manager.

Responsibilities include safe operation, preventive maintenance, overtime work, and on-call rotations; a HS diploma or GED and at least one year in industrial maintenance are required, with MD 4th/5th Grade Stationary Engineers license preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year experience in an industrial maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with Company policies.
• Operate all hand/power tools in a competent manner.
• Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot piping systems, valves, steam traps, pumps.
