Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks a Combustion Turbine Engineer at our Oak Creek, Wisconsin location. The role covers planning, execution, and documentation of outages and major maintenance to support reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate brings knowledge of heavy-duty combustion turbines (GE 7FA/GE 7EA) and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; December 2026 graduates eligible.
• Experience with heavy-duty combustion turbines (GE 7FA or GE 7EA) preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and O&M support for power plant operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate unit outages and major maintenance events (combustion inspections, hot gas path inspections, overhauls).
• Analyze data to improve reliability and efficiency; propose equipment upgrades or operational changes.
• Manage O&M and capital projects with scope, schedule, budget, and contractor oversight.
• Promote safe, reliable, compliant, economical generation of electricity.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis.
