Job summary

The AES Indiana Generation team at AES Corporation is seeking a Co-op Engineer to support operations, maintenance, and asset performance at Harding Street Station and other AES Indiana facilities. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to gain hands-on experience in power generation, reliability improvement, and plant performance optimization.

We’re looking for students pursuing a 4-year Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related STEM field, with a valid driver’s license and authorization to work

Qualifications

• Pursuing or has a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Must possess a valid state-issued Driver’s License.
• Must be authorized to work in the State of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day troubleshooting of operational and maintenance issues at Harding Street Station and other AES Indiana facilities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Outage Planning to ensure safe planning and execution of work.
• Assist with outage execution activities and facilitate coordination between teams for project execution.
