NAES Corporation is seeking a Plant Chemistry Technician in Sherman, TX to manage plant chemistry, water treatment, and environmental programs across water/steam cycles, RO, ZLD, and chemical-treatment systems. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, and vendors to optimize performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or related discipline preferred.
• Five+ years in power-generation chemistry or water treatment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HRSG water/steam-cycle chemistry and corrosion/scale control.
• Experience with reverse osmosis, demineralized water, wastewater, and ZLD systems.
• Laboratory analyses and operation of analytical equipment.
• Compliance with environmental regulations and recordkeeping.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage plant chemistry programs following OEM guidance and environmental permits.
• Provide oversight of condensate, feedwater, HRSG, steam and cooling-water programs.
• Monitor RO, demineralized-water, cooling-water, and ZLD systems for performance and cost control.
• Set chemistry control limits, sampling frequencies, lab methods, alarm limits, and response procedures.
• Collect and analyze water, steam, wastewater, and chemical samples per approved methods.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory and online analytical equipment.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Support startups, shutdowns, outages, and chemistry-driven actions during layups.
