Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Power Plant Operator to monitor and control auxiliary equipment such as pumps, fans, and condensers. You will use SAP/PM to verify equipment history and maintain logs, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include mentoring less experienced team members, analyzing chemistry tests, and following clearance procedures in the centralized control room to uphold plant performance.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a technical field or equivalent.
• Experience in power plant or process-controlled environment required.
• Multiple qualification paths including military or vocational credentials.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain auxiliary equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors and condensers.
• Monitor and operate controls in the centralized power plant control room.
• Mentor less experienced team members and share knowledge.
• Keep logs and verbal communication of plant conditions.
• Use SAP/PM for equipment history and verification of work performed.
• Execute clearance procedures and follow safety and environmental rules.
