The role covers wearables, mobile, and embedded products with hands-on testing, tool usage (Perfetto, Bugreports, Battery Historian), and rigorous documentation of findings.
Qualifications
- Must have experience taking power measurements on battery-powered embedded devices.
- Experience with Android performance or system-level testing.
- Background in wearables, mobile devices, IoT products, or embedded systems is required.
Responsibilities
- Execute power characterization and performance testing on battery-powered devices.
- Measure and analyze power consumption, battery life, thermal behavior, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot power-related issues and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with software engineers to investigate regressions and improve efficiency.
- Create test plans, run validation, and document findings.
